Snowstorm Feb 1-2, 2011

I woke this morning around 2:30 to the sound of sleet.  I'm not sure exactly when it began, but it has been sleeting nonstop, and very heavy at times all morning.

As of 11:30am, we now have 1 & 1/4" of sleet, with just a light glaze of ice under it.

Our weeping willow shows the ice glaze, which fortunately is not as much as forecasters had feared we would have.  I'm very greatful!!

Spring is Springing!

The weather lately has been nothing less than absolutely amazing!!!  Temperature today got up around 70, the sun has been shining, and even the breeze has warmed a touch.  We have lots of rain forecasted for much of the remainder of this week, so I've been enjoying as much of the sunshine as I can!!
